from JAMES
A blog post from band member James:
Hello, everyone. I just wanted to stop by and say HI!
It's been an incredible year that Chris and I have worked together, and I am extremely grateful for the opportunities we've had to perform and grow as a band. Recently, we've had a new addition to the band, Sid Sridhar! So, I'd like to personally welcome Sid to (the) fundamentalists!
We have a great opportunity coming up performing at the TWC Conference. We performed with them back in October and they thoroughly enjoyed what we had to offer, especially our "GaGa Mashup/Medley" which they called "GLEE-worthy"! What an honor to be associated with that modern-musical phenomenon!
Also coming up, we will be performing in Bay City at a benefit for MY mom! She had a recent (and short-lived, thankfully) battle with cancer, but they caught it early! However, her insurance deductible is huge! So, if you're in the area on April 7th, stop by Malickey's Pub for MUSIC FOR MARTHA! Meet Martha, donate, and enjoy a great concert event featuring myself, my sister Cynthia Begeman, drag stars April Devine and Krysta Radiance, and of course (the) fundamentalists!
I appreciate all the work Chris and I have done this year and am looking forward to more work ahead. I cannot wait to see where we can go with a solid THREE members!
Look forward to seeing you all soon!
James

Still searching for a PERCUSSIONIST!
The ideal person would be:
1) DEPENDABLE AND NO DRAMA-no DIVAS!!
2) Able to practice 1-2 times a week @ our practice space in Novi
3) Be ok with being in an openly GLBT oriented band (so skip the hate or wisea$$ comments to this posting-we've heard it ALL before) YOU DON'T have to be Gay Lesbian BI or Transgendered (GLBT) but you DO have to be ok with performing in front of mixed audiences.

We're currently working on a new CD and already have gigs scheduled for this spring/summer.
If this sounds like a good fit for you-call or text Chris @ 586-610-1179 to discuss further.
